Hanfeng Lake, born from the world-renowned Three Gorges Project, is the largest inland lake in the Yangtze River Three Gorges International Golden Tourism Belt. It is the intersection of Three Gorges civilization and Qinba culture, and a three-dimensional painting with blue water as ink and green mountains as brush.

It has been successively awarded as the "Green Water and Green Mountains are Gold and Silver Mountains" practical innovation base, the pilot unit of the National Water National Leisure Sports Center, and selected as the first national excellent case of beautiful rivers and lakes in Chongqing and one of the top ten tourism new landscapes in the New Three Gorges.
