Hanfeng Lakeside Park is an ecological isolation zone created by Kaizhou District, Chongqing between the county town and Hanfeng Lake. It is also the longest and largest waterfront park in Chongqing.

Location and Scale: Hanfeng Hubin Lake Park is located in Kaizhou District, Chongqing, with a total length of 40 kilometers and a total area of 2.6 million square meters. The park is like a emerald green ribbon, tied to the shores of Hanfeng Lake and also tied to the edge of Kaizhou City.

Background of Construction: In order to fully utilize the unique natural resources of Hanfeng Lake, Kaizhou District has built a lakeside park around Hanfeng Lake, aiming to create a comprehensive park that integrates tourism, leisure, fitness, catering, entertainment and other functions.

Hydrophilic design: The park is designed with hydrophilic boardwalks and platforms, and comfortable seats are also set up on pedestrian walkways and lawns. Visitors can rest and walk here, enjoy flowers and bird songs, and achieve a zero distance hydrophilic experience.

Functional zoning: The overall construction of the park is divided into three levels. The first level is along the edge of Binhu Road, with squares, green spaces, rockeries, and pavilions as the main body, highlighting the leisure nature of the park; The second level includes slow speed sightseeing trails and pedestrian walkways around the lake, highlighting the park's sportiness; The third level is steps or wetlands, highlighting hydrophilicity. In addition, the park also has functional areas such as large amusement parks, artificial beaches, and swimming pools.

Hanfeng Lake: As an important part of the Binhu Park, Hanfeng Lake has a water area of 15 square kilometers, more than 30 bays, and 41 islands. It is a national level water conservancy scenic spot, and its unique natural and cultural landscapes attract many tourists.

Wind and Rain Covered Bridge: Located on the east side of Hanfeng Lake, it is an antique style building built according to the trend with the water level regulating dam top as the bridge subgrade. It is 507 meters long, with colorful glazed blue tiles and upturned eaves, arranged in a staggered manner, and is a major highlight of the park.

Kaizhou Juzi Garden: Located by Hanfeng Lake, it consists of six parts: Wenfeng Pagoda, Kaizhou National College, Confucian Temple, Kaizhou Examination Institute, Shengshan Academy, and garden landscape. It showcases the cultural heritage of Kaizhou for thousands of years and is a theme park for understanding Confucian culture.
