Gao Lin and her delegation conducted a research on the establishment of a national-level tourist resort in the ancient city of Kaizhou

On July 16th, Gao Lin, Director of the Municipal Culture and Tourism Commission, led a team to conduct a survey on cultural tourism work. Yang Hong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Mayor, and Deng Guo, a district leader, accompanied the survey.

Gao Lin and her delegation visited the former residence of Liu Bocheng, Hanfeng Lake Tourism Information Consultation Center, Yuqing Museum, Water Sports Club, Yiyuan Theater, Han Embroidery Cultural and Creative Center, and Kaizhou Ancient City. Through on-site visits, listening to reports, and engaging in exchanges and inquiries, they gained a detailed understanding of the protection and utilization of red resources in Kaizhou District and the establishment of a national-level tourist resort.

During the investigation, Gao Lin fully affirmed the achievements made in the cultural and tourism work in Kaizhou District. She said that the development of Kaizhou's cultural and tourism industry has a solid foundation and broad prospects. We must identify our comparative advantages, make good use of the unique resources of Hanfeng Lake, adhere to the concept of all-for-one tourism, enrich tourism formats, diversify consumption scenarios, promote the deep integration of cultural tourism with commerce, sports, and other industries, and create more iconic and recognizable cultural tourism products. We must strengthen promotion and learn from advanced models, reinforce the concept of "leveraging potential, leveraging publicity, leveraging traffic", enhance market analysis, expand the source market, promote cross-provincial cooperation with Sichuan and Shaanxi, and further enhance the popularity of Kaizhou tourism. We must deepen reform and empowerment, aim for branding, professionalization, and standardization, actively cultivate and introduce leading cultural tourism operators, adhere to market-oriented operations, standardized construction, and normalized management, and comprehensively improve the quality of the cultural tourism industry. The Municipal Cultural Tourism Commission will work together with Kaizhou to contribute more cultural tourism strength to the construction of a modern new Chongqing.

Yang Hong welcomed Gao Lin and her delegation, and expressed gratitude to the Municipal Cultural Tourism Commission for its care and guidance to Kaizhou. He pointed out that Kaizhou is deeply implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions during his inspection of Chongqing, firmly embedding the concept of "immersing in tourism to promote tourism", systematically promoting high-quality cultural, sports, and tourism economy, high-level cultural, sports, and tourism supply, high-quality cultural, sports, and tourism experience, and high-efficiency cultural, sports, and tourism governance, and is striving to create a national-level tourist resort in Hanfeng Lake, and improve the quality to build a nationally renowned cultural tourism destination. He hoped that the Municipal Cultural Tourism Commission would continue to care for and support the development of Kaizhou's cultural tourism industry, and incorporate more cultural and tourism projects in Kaizhou into the city's "14th Five-Year Plan" cultural tourism planning. Kaizhou will further strengthen systematic planning and overall layout, effectively write the four articles of "mountains, water, lakes, and cities", and contribute to the high-quality development of the city's cultural and tourism industry.
