On the occasion of the traditional festival of the Loong Boat Festival, the 2025 Xinghan (Xinglong Lake · Hanfeng Lake) Double Lake Race "Wanda Kaiyun" Loong Boat Invitational Tournament, meticulously built in Kaizhou District, has achieved multi-dimensional breakthroughs in an innovative form, and built a complex event platform integrating competitive viewing, cultural experience and ecological leisure.

There are three highlights in the innovation dimension of the competition: firstly, from the perspective of strategic coordination, continuously deepening the sports exchange between Sichuan and Chongqing, linking with Xinglong Lake in Sichuan to build a cross regional sports resource matrix, promoting the coordinated development of water sports projects through the joint organization of competitions, and injecting new momentum into the sports and cultural exchange of the Chengdu Chongqing economic circle.

The second is the first "luminous Loong Boat" visual feast, which transforms the traditional Loong Boat into a flowing art carrier. The participating teams split waves under the neon light, complementing the ecological green corridor and cultural landscape by the Hanfeng Lake, creating an immersive experience of "people competing in the painting, scenery moving with the boat shadow". This nighttime event mode breaks through traditional time and space limitations, extends tourist stay time, and drives the growth of nighttime economic consumption.

Thirdly, the competition structure has achieved a historic breakthrough, with 22 teams in the district setting a new historical high, covering diverse entities such as government agencies, communities, streets, and corporate groups. What is particularly striking is the establishment of the first women's Loong Boat team. 30 female athletes from different industries broke the traditional gender boundaries and displayed the female demeanor of the new era in the competition. This pattern of nationwide participation not only demonstrates the effectiveness of the national fitness strategy, but also consolidates social consensus through sports events.

The successful holding of the Loong Boat Race marks a key step for Kaizhou in the development of the water sports industry.
