Recently, the opening ceremony of the 5th Hanfeng Lake "Water Joy Season" series of sports activities and the 9th Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumer Season (Kaizhou branch venue) was grandly held at Shengshan Square in Kaizhou District.

At the opening ceremony, a splendid cultural evening party showcasing the millennium old cultural heritage of Kaizhou was staged. The series of activities of the Happy Water Season will last until November 4, including "Hushan Cup" 2024 Chongqing Kaizhou Hanfeng Lake Marathon, the 7th National Undergraduate Canoeing Championship, Chongqing Kaizhou Hanfeng Lake University Loong Boat Invitational, Chongqing Kaizhou 7th "Happy Hanfeng Lake" Swimming Open, 2024 National Paddle Board Championship, and 2024 "Happy Kaizhou Golden Autumn Benefiting People" Consumer Exhibition. Allowing citizens and tourists to enjoy major sports events while also experiencing a new experience of local cultural, sports, business, and tourism integration development in Kaifeng.
